Angelica Maria Vale Hartman (also called professionally Angelica Vale) is a Mexican American artist, performer-singer comic, radio host and comedian. Her birthplace was in Mexico City, where she was raised by the comedian Raul Vale. Angelica Maria Vale Hartman is well-known as the pioneer of La Balada Ranchera musical genre that reached the top of charts in 1973. Angelica Maria became the first Latino artist to reach 2 million copies sold in America. The singer met Venezuelan singer/comedian Raul Vale in the year 1974.
